Complaints Committee
The Complaints Committee investigates complaints referred to the Committee by the Registrar. The legislated authority and process for this Committee are set out in Sections 64-89 of the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
When addressing a complaint, this Committee makes a decision (known as the “disposition”) in accordance with Section 84 of the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). The disposition can range from dismissing the complaint to referral of the complaint to the Professional Conduct Committee.
